Will having an independent shop work on my car void my factory warranty?
No. Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer cannot void your factory warranty solely because an independent shop performed service. Keep itemized invoices that show the parts and labor used.
Do you provide written estimates before starting work?
Yes. Every job begins with an itemized written estimate — parts and labor, line by line. You approve the estimate before we put a wrench on the car, and if we find something mid-job we stop and call you first.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Appointments help us get you in and out faster, but walk-ins are welcome — especially for diagnostics, check-engine lights, and quick services like oil changes.
How long does a typical diagnostic take?
Most check-engine and drivability diagnostics take under an hour from sign-in to a verbal finding. Complex intermittent issues sometimes need longer; if so, we'll tell you up front.
Are parts under warranty?
Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty for their category — brake pads, alternators, sensors, and so on each have their own coverage from the brand we install. Ask at drop-off and we'll show you the specific coverage for your job.
What should I bring at drop-off?
Your keys, your phone number, and a short description of the symptom — when it happens, what it sounds like, and whether anything fixes it temporarily. Recent service records help if you have them, but they're not required.
